Geneva Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

China Luncheon Silent Auction Donations.  Plans are underway for this year's China Luncheon scheduled for October 27th.  The luncheon will again include a silent auction with this year's proceeds being donated to the new Community Center fund.  If you would like to donate an item(s) for this year's silent auction, please reply to this email or contact Bev Barthule or Laura Weaver.

Announcement!  Chamber Rural Community Living Expo will not be held in 2019.  Earlier this year the Chamber distributed a vendor survey to past attendees of the Chamber Rural Community Living Expo.  The survey was created to measure interest and participation for an Expo in 2019.  Based upon the responses, it was determined that there was not enough interest from area vendors to hold a successful Expo in 2019.  For additional information regarding the cancellation of the Expo or the survey results, please plan to attend our next Chamber Membership meeting scheduled for October (date TBA).

Free Training for all Chamber Members:  The Geneva Fire and Rescue Department offers free fire extinguisher training to any Geneva business or organization.  For additional information or to schedule a free training please contact Dan Taylor 402-759-1648 or Mike Grothe 402-768-8045.

FEATURING...The Geneva Chamber Membership!  Beginning in September, we will dedicate space in our weekly updates and on Facebook  to individually promote each of our Member Businesses and Organizations.  There is no cost to participate. If your business would like to be included in a weekly promotion, please reply to this email or contact Susan Lynch 402-676-9002.
